Welcome to
Family Organizations Guide
Global Edition
A directory of organizations
working to protect the family world wide.
Notice to those using this guide:
DIIFSD has worked diligently to identify worldwide organizations that work to support and protect the family. This CD is not complete; it is a beginning. This guide will help individuals and groups concerned with the family to contact, communicate and cooperate with each other.
Please note that some NGOs that do not have their own website have been included. They are located on network sites (such as CRIN and Kabissa) where their contact information and mission statements are available.
Every effort has been made to obtain accurate information from published data. Please notify DIIFSD of any errors so necessary corrections can be made. In addition, send DIIFSD the contact information - including e-mail addresses - of other organizations that should be included in future editions. Inclusion in this guide does not constitute an endorsement of any organization by DIIFSD.
Navigating the Database
After the introductory messages, you will reach a screen showing the world divided into continents with a list of those continents. Click on either the picture or name of the continent to obtain a list of countries within that continent. Click on the country of interest to obtain a list of NGOs in that country. The NGO listings include a portion of each NGO's mission statement. To obtain additional information for a specific NGO, click on either the word "more" or the name of the NGO. When you arrive at the full listing for an NGO (if you are online), you can go to that NGO's website by clicking on the listed web address. (Every effort has been made to supply an active website address, however, sometimes websites change or go inactive.)
Under the logo bar at the top of your screen there is an option to return to the list of continents or to go to an alphabetical listing of all countries contained in the database. Click on the either "Continents" or "Countries" to go to that listing.
DIIFSD hopes you find the information contained in this CD useful and informative.
